Predeceased by her mother, June 1952, father 1962, her husband in January 1987 and brother Harry in 1987 she is survived by her son Keith (Marge) of Union Bay, BC. She married Albert Abrahamson October 1948. She was member of Evangel Tabernacle and WM, treasurer of Sunday school, member of Club 60, Farm Wives and Donors Choice. She clerked at various stores in Flin Flon. She passed away in 1967.ĪBRAHAMSON – Margaretta "Retta" Frances Abrahamson 78, of Preeceville died on Maat Preeceville Hospital. After arriving in Canada she had seven more children: Albert, Helen, Otto, Harold, Walter, Elsie and Edwin. She worked hard at cooking, keeping house and sewing for the growing family. Karin was a seamstress acquiring that skill from her dad, Nels Hogg, who was a tailor by trade. She came to the States and then to Canada in 1907 with her husband and three children, Hattie, Clarence and Einer. He was a provincial horseshoe champion, as well as being involved in bowling and shuffleboard.ĪBRAHAMSON – Karen (nee Hogg) was born in 1878 in Sweden. He spent the last a10 years living with his nephew, Raymond Abrahamson, in Preeceville. He was educated at Beaver Bluff School and, except for a short stint in the army, spent most of his life on the family farm 2.5 miles southeast of Preeceville. Born on Main Preeceville to Erik and Karin Abrahamson, he was the eighth of eleven children. He died in 1936.ĪBRAHAMSON – Harold Mainer Abrahamson, 88 of Preeceville, died peacefully in his sleep at home on December 23, 2003. Eric was handicapped with deafness and this was the cause of his untimely death at age 59, while walking to town on the railway track and did not hear the approaching train.

He was a life member of the British and Foreign Bible Society. After arriving in Canada seven more children were born. They settled on a homestead with their children, Hattie, Clarence and Einer. Predeceased by his father, Erik in November 1936 his mother Karin in March 1967, and a brother Otto in January 1967 he is survived by five brothers, Albert and Harold of Preeceville, Clarence of Minneapolis, Walter of Creighton and Edwin of Regina and three sisters, Hattie Iverson and Helen Scharfenberg of Preeceville and Elsie Gray of Medicine Hat, ABĪBRAHAMSON – Erick and his wife Karin immigrated to the USA from Ostersund, Sweden in 1903 and in 1907 moved to Canada. He was a board member of the Preeceville Pentecostal Church for a period of time and also served on the executive board of the Telephone Company. Born on Septemin Minneapolis, Minn., he was educated at Beaver Bluff School He took over the family farm in 1939, where he resided until his death.

Predeceased by his parents, Eric and Karen, four brothers, Clarence, Albert, Einar and Otto and two sisters, Hattie Iverson and Helen Scharfenberg, he is survived by his wife, Ruth a son Robert (Bonnie) two brothers, Walter (Ann) of Creighton and Harold of Preeceville a sister, Elsie Gray of Medicine Hat, and two grandchildren.ĪBRAHAMSON – Einer Abrahamson, 74 of Preeceville, passed away on June 1, 1982, at his home. He married Ruth Iverson in 1948 and worked for the CNR until his retirement. Born on Februin Preeceville, he served in the Canadian navy for 4.5 years and worked for the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company in Flin Flon until 1958. Bernice passed away in 1941.ĪBRAHAMSON – Edwin Clement Abrahamson, 77 of Regina and formerly of Preeceville, died on March 31, 1999, at Regina Pasqua Hospital. She married Albert Abrahamson and they had one son, Raymond, born in 1941.
